I recently relocated to Washington from Boston, where I spent more than a dozen years. Raised in various domestic and international locales as an Army brat, before finally semi-settling in Boston for graduate school. There I worked as a executive compensation consultant for Towers Perrin and then spent more than three years as deputy director of MassEquality, building a powerful movement for equality in Massachusetts to protect America's first equal marriage rights for same-sex couples.
Earlier in life, I studied at Wofford College and did graduate work that I never finished at Northeastern University.
I love and appreciate my boyfriend Bill in Boston, my parents in South Carolina, my sister Janet and her kids out in the suburbs here, my sister Sara in Colorado Springs, and my many friends scattered here and there.
